CHRIS CALLED ME TODAY FROM MAINE AND ASKED IF I WANTED TO DRUM ON THE NEXT CD AND STUFF.

I AM FLIPPING OUT. I FUCKING LOOOVE HIS MUSIC SO MUCH. AHHHHHHHHHH, HE IS THE NEXT DARYL, NO DOUBT. OF COURSE I AM STILL GIVING 140 % TO JEFFCOAT. I AM JUST GOING TO PUT AN ADDITIONAL 100% INTO ESE. IT WILL BE TOUGH, BUT JEFFCOAT COMES FIRST OF COURSE, SO DONT YOU WORRY OUT THERE.

today was alright, woke up, went to best buy with tara to buy her dad a dvd player, and then i was off to work.

I HATE WORK. I HATE EXCELLENT PIZZA. I WOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING THAT I HATE ABOUT IT, BUT ITS TOO LATE. SO I QUIT. I QUIT.

frank (boss) does not know this yet though. i quit in my head, and will tell him soon.

now, i only make less than 50 bucks a week. which is nothing. so i was talking to my dad. now i know that we have a shitload of work to do around my house/yard.

and he said that he would give me jobs, and i could make more money than i did at excellent. and i wont have a boss, and i can work when i want too. i am very happy.

then after work, everyone (me, mike, laura, nicky, jenny, matt, jonas) met up and came to my house and hung out here, it was nice.

i am going to bed, and tomorrow is thursday, which is awesome.

monday, i dont know if i will be working, tuesday is the living room show, and then i dont know whats going on.

but..things should be getting better.

not that they arent good.

oh and if you are actually still reading this, i congratulate you. i have noticed that i dont really talk about tara alot in my posts. this is not because i dont like my girlfriend. i love her actually, very, very much. i just dont really ever feel the need to post pics of us doing things and say I HAVE THE BEST GIRLFRIEND EVER! AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH! WOOHOO ><

i dont know, i just dont really feel the need, and i know that she doesnt hang out with the crew as much, but thats because her dad is tough and doesnt really let her go out much. but yeah, so, thats the deal with that. hopefully her dad will get better this summer.

so i know i told you about the fire in my backyard, but here as some visuals

today was interesting.

woke up around noon, and played drums for a while.
went over jordans, hung out there for a while, and then went to wal mart. came baack to my house, went on the computer, and then went back to his house.

i was there for about 45 minutes, and then i drove home. i was on my street, and i saw some firetrucks on my street. then i saw them at my house. so i screw into the driveway, and i saw that they were in my backyard. my backyard and then grange field was on fire. again. i happen about 6 years ago also. but that one was my fault.

so...when it was all said and done, no one knows what happened, but there were 3 other brushfires in my area today, so they are thinking that it is the same person. hmm....kinda creepy.

and then i went to taras, and we watched Gothicka. which i thought was going to be gay, but ended up being good. so that was nice. and then i came home, and here i am.

oh yeah, and i just found out that one of the bands that we are competing against at the rock hunt, Stoic, was just in SoundCheck magazine, which means that they are good, which means that...oh man.
ha


but hey, well see

alright, so the show tonight...

we went on first, because all the other bands were biggger


technical difficulties, but it was alright i guess..

anyway...we talked to the owner of the call, and he is going to try to get us on some shows with Piebald, and a show with Planes Mistaken For Stars, which are both happening at the call


also, the monday after next, i think we are going back to the call and playing an open mic night, because i hear thats how you get on all the good shows. which is neato. and that is the day before the living room battle of the bands, which is sweet.

so..in a whole, the night wasnt a waste, but it definetly could have gone much better.

alright, so me, andy, christine, chris, matt, nicky, jonas, mike, and others went to the poison the well/thrice show last night at Lupos and the strand.

overall, it was a very good show.

we got there about a half hour late, and the first band was on, Verse. they were wierd, not horrible, but nothing that got me going.

the second band, moments in grace, i honestly dont remember anything about them...i was walking around at this time, exploring the new venue.

the third band, Vaux was better than i thought they were going to be, they were pretty decent. during their set, i got up to the bar at the front, and waited for ptw.

poison the well came on, and they were powerful as all hell like normal. they are really amazing musicians. beautiful. they played almost the whole new cd, which was nice, but i would have liked to hear some old stuff also. they were excellent though.

then thrice came on, and i wanted to have some fun, and move around. i crowd surfed off the top bar many a time, as well as other places. i pitted the shit out of myself, and it was fun.
the whole thrice set sounded like one long song, but i was having so much fun, that i didnt care how good they were.

we left at about 10:15, but first i bought two shirts, took the poster off the door, and the whole band talked to jeff from ptw for about 45 minutes...mostly about the band, so that was nice. hes a good guy.

me, andy, christine, and chris went to east side pockets and got falalfaflaffulls....it was alright, but i wasnt really feeling like eating at this time.

went home, and went to bed around 11:30

good night.

tonight...
work at 5 till close, mike is working at 8, so that should be fun.

tomorrow...i have no idea, i want to go out with tara for most of the day, and sunday we are starting vocals, and then i am working.
